It was in the 3rd Tyrannic War on Tarsus Ultra that Constantine first faced what would soon become his life-enemy, the Great Devourer. He served as part of the Fourth Company, where he was awarded actions for his part in the Vangard force of the Imperial resistance. He saw many brothers fall to these beasts and a righteous hatred of them formed in his heart. Once the war was ended he volunteered to serve with the Deathwatch, to further pursue his war against the unclean Xenos. He served in a number of campaigns, including the pacification of the Gheist Collective, before eventually being assigned to Inquisitor Anastasia's retinue.

Gibraltar System

After the events of the Gibraltar system and his wounding in the tunnels beneath Beta Colony, Constantine was changed. He understood the obvious threat of the Tyranids, their drive and ceaseless hunger, but these 'Angels' were something else. Insidious, stealthy and spread throughout the Imperium he pledged himself to hunting down and destroying these foul Xenos and took a permanent place in Inquisitor Anastatia's retinue.
